We offer a programme of different activities working with a mentor alongside horses, small animals, pottery, arts and crafts, carpentry, horticulture, cookery, natural handcraft and more.

Referral information

JAC mentoring programmes are suitable for young people who have an interest in any of the activities mentioned above, like being outdoors and may be struggling in the educational setting due to behavioural, emotional, social and or learning difficulties / disabilities.

Young people are referred to this programme from Social Services, Schools, Local Education Authorities, Pupil Referral Units, Youth Services and Parents. We can work with young people in small groups, if appropriate but most of our work is 1-1.

How much does it cost?

We price for a term, however we can arrange a monthly payment plan for parents. Prices can vary the needs of the young person, an assessment is carried out on the basis of information given in the referrals form and from the Taster Session. A term of sessions, with one hour a week, starts from £460 but ranges up to £1222 for most complex needs.

Sessions cost us more to deliver than we charge, but we reduce the cost to schools, parents, and councils in order to keep sessions affordable and accessible.

We never want financial reasons to stop young people from getting the support they need. Please contact us if this is the case.
