Like many Charities, our ongoing ability to reach out to children and young people, depends deeply on not just funding, but a team of Vital Volunteers. Just as our children and young people require love and devotion, so do our wonderful animals and facilities. God has given each of us special gifts and reminds us continually of the importance of sharing our gifts with others. If you feel able to share your gift through a labour of love, we would love to hear from you.

We have volunteering opportunities across the organisation in the following areas:

Administration, finance, fundraising, cleaning, equine, small animal care, gardening, mentoring young people, art and craft, schools work, detached work, DIY, construction and much much more. We fit our vacancies around people’s passions, skills and experience. Let us know if there is something that you would like to do.

As much, or as little, time as you can offer will always be hugely appreciated, please fill in our Volunteer Application Form below for more information and to start the conversation.

NB: References are usually required, all volunteers will be interviewed. We may have a waiting list.

JAC students attending sessions are expected to do two terms of mentoring sessions at JAC before volunteering.
